A note from our owner Yana... 

... I started collecting when I was very young. It really is all my Grandmother's fault. LOL. She was fabulous! When I was 14, I started raiding her closet, making off with Chanel and Jil Sander and she would just laugh and say - "you should have it - it really does look better on a young person." But before I got away with my loot she look me in the eye and say with her authoritarian voice "this is fashion, you must respect it so promise me that you take good care of it and that you will not to loose it". And behold a fashion lover/hoarder was born. 

For many years when I was a stylist in New York, before the archive was even conceived, I collected pieces from VIP Sample Sales, Vintage Markets in London, Paris and New York and of course the online treasure hunting grounds. Not even knowing what I would use them for, I felt I needed to rescue them, care for them and their moment will come. 

The moment is here now, It's no longer just a passion project. It gives me so much joy that clients see the value of vintage & sustainability, of dressing with unique pieces, giving craftsmanship and good design another look, another life cycle. 

Through the work with "the Archive" - and keeping up with our client's demands - collecting has become my life. I have expanded my resources with vintage dealers in Europe, Asia and special suppliers in the States. But one thing stays the same - the thrill of discovering a gem and giving it another life is the same as it has always been. 

Our philosophy is that true luxury is timeless design. We focus on collected, rediscovered, hand picked pieces which illustrate that beauty, elevated design and good manufacturing are forever.
